The UK Government's Department for Business and Trade, working in partnership with Dudley Council, are hosting Made in Dudley Borough, Sold to the World. This roadshow is part of a special series of events taking place across the country which showcase how your business can start exporting, or build on your business’s existing international presence.

- Meet and hear from local Business Growth West Midlands in Dudley advisers on wider business growth support available to your business.
- Participate in roundtable discussions covering topics from digital trade, culture and communications to market selection and research.
- Network with DBT Export Champions and gain insights into their international journeys, together with top tips on how to start yours.
- Have the opportunity to take a glimpse behind the scenes at BCIMO and take a tour of the centre’s unique rail and engineering facilities.

Energy Audits
Free diagnostic tools/on-site carbon reduction surveys supporting businesses to quantify and benchmark their emissions (audits of the energy used by their buildings, industrial processes and operations), identify cost-effective energy saving measures, set validated emissions targets, embed low carbon strategy within the company.

Information and Advice
1-2-1 advice, webinars, workshops, peer networks, etc. supporting businesses to understand how they can get to net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Support with new regulations, having an impact on investment and energy challenges with less uncertainty to enable them to take larger/longer-term investment decisions.
Knowledge Transfer activities
R&D support and sustainability software. Some businesses, following an energy efficiency audit, may be offered additional support for low carbon knowledge transfer and technical research and development support for emerging technologies, products, services and processes for carbon reduction. Circa 10 days of support will be provided for each business via a blended model of face-to-face and online delivery, depending on the specific needs of the business.

Grants
There is £4.5million in Net Zero grants which is funded through the UKSPF programme. Businesses can get a grant of up to £100,000 in funding and up to 50% aid intensity.
If your business has had an energy efficiency assessment either through Decarbonisation/Net Zero or from an accredited audit company over the last 2 years, please contact your local authority and you will be able to apply for a grant.
