Register nowWhat does BEAS offer?
The Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) is a pilot programme designed to help businesses save money and drive growth by providing free energy assessments and 50% match-funded grants.
After registering online, an audit will be conducted to identify areas for improving energy efficiency and reducing costs. Businesses will then have the opportunity to apply for a grant to invest in energy improvement measures, administered by your local authority.
There is no payback required, and BEAS is part of a broader government initiative aimed at reducing carbon emissions nationwide.
Energy improvement measures include, but are not limited to*:
- Ventilation (fans, distribution, destratification fans)
- Heating (replacement boilers, burners, heat pumps)
- Energy-efficient lighting (LED, controls, sensors)
- Refrigeration
- Insulation
- Recycling & Waste (compactors, balers & crushers)
- Water management
*Solar panels are not available as part of the BEAS programme.
