About this event

Peer to Peer Group

The essence of this programme is to bring together a group of likeminded, ambitious and driven business owners to guide, encourage, challenge and stimulate ideas enabling you to make some great decisions all leading to speedier results.

It’ll be like having 10 highly experienced business coaches and mentors in the room, all offering you invaluable support to help your business grow!

Would you like to;

  • Overcome business challenges and recognise and act on new opportunities with the support of fellow business owners?
  • Build a trusted network of connections to support you now and in the future?
  • Improve your long-term personal and business performance?

If so this programme is ideally suited for you!

The group will meet once a month providing you with the opportunity to share business challenges in a non-competitive group setting all complimented by invaluable leadership and business development training from proven experts in their fields.

The group will be facilitated by a highly experienced multi-award-winning business mentor, board advisor and fellow business owner who will use proven frameworks to encourage discussion and ideas.

On top of all that you’ll also receive 1-1 business mentoring and coaching enabling us to take deeper dives into your challenges.

It’s recognised that business owners who seek out external advice or undertake formal training are more likely to improve their overall performance. Many, however, prefer to take advice from trusted sources, such as their peers, when presented with external challenges and opportunities. That makes this group an ideal business partner!

“So, I'm very, very pleasantly surprised at how the programme has affected me. I'm a natural cynic, so doubted how much I could get out of this, but every session I'm wowed by the experience and wisdom that's out there and the generosity with which it's shared. I've found the support from other directors invaluable. I think I mentioned at the start that it's pretty lonely at the top and having these in the diary has really helped”. 65 employees, TO £8m

Eligible businesses will be trading more than 12 months and have a minimum of 3 employees. If you would like to find out more or register your interest for this group please contact Catherine Bray on 07790 358610 or catherine.bray@oxin.co.uk.

Facilitator Bio - Maria Peggs – Business Mentor, Facilitator, Non-Exec Board Advisor & Coach.

Maria is an ambitious and highly motivated woman who set up her first award winning IT training business in 1994, now a Business Mentor, Coach, Facilitator, Trainer and Non-Exec Director who has mentored over 350 businesses either in a long-term capacity as a Board Advisor, driving growth via robust strategic planning and facilitating the delivery through to final exiting of the businesses, or short-term interventions via programmes such as the national Peer to Peer programme, mentoring business leaders to stimulate ideas, supporting them through the various stages to achieve their desired goals.

Although her key strengths are scoping out strategic plans, strong financial management data and process mapping, her passion lies with ensuring all personnel in an organisation are motivated and engaged as without the people and effective processes to support them an organisations goals can often fall short.

Maria has an infectious, motivational, fun yet highly professional way of driving people to push themselves to achieve their ambitions whilst always keeping an eye on the bottom line!

In November 2022 Maria won the prestigious national business award for the ‘Inspiring Mentor Award’ category for the National Forward Ladies Community as well as a silver award for ‘Businesswoman of the Year’ in the Services Category for the National Best Business Women Awards.

In 2021, she won a Silver Award for Chameleon Business in the National Businesswomen’s Awards and finalist for the ‘Director of the Year’ for the Institute of Directors.
