New Cyber Local competition launches today

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £1.8 million to target the growth of the cyber security sector and the development of cyber security skills. This funding is from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT).

You can apply from 17th of March and the competition will close on 30 April. There will be a briefing event on 18 of March at which you can find out more.
 
Projects would start on the 1st of September 2025. Project size can be in the range between 25k-150k and running min. 3 months and max. 6 months.
 
It is mandatory for applicants to obtain the endorsement from their local steering group set up by DSIT for their application to be eligible.

The online form to send the Expression of Interest to obtain the steering group endorsement can be found here. The deadline to submit the Expression of Interest to the steering group is 14 March.
